253 MA Plates

It continues to oxidise up to 1150 °C and can be of great assistance to Grade 310 in atmospheres rich in carbon, nitrogen, and sulphur. When compared to heavy nickel alloys like Grade 310, 253MA's comparatively low nickel content helps to reduce sulphide atmospheres. the addition of a lot of silicon A grade called 253MA Plates combines good high-temperature service characteristics with simplicity in production. It can outperform Grade 310 in atmospheres comprising carbon, nitrogen, and sulphur and can withstand oxidation up to 1150°C.
